National Biodiversity Strategy and Action Plan - Republic of Rwanda
The revised and updated National Biodiversity Strategy and Action Plan (NBSAP) is the output of the valuable contributions from key actors directly or indirectly involved in biodiversity management and conservation activities. These include experts and representatives from relevant sector ministerial departments, public institutions, private sector, national and international organizations and NGOs as well as the community based organizations. The present National Biodiversity Strategy and Action Plan (NBSAP) reflects a framework for conservation, sustainable use and equitable sharing of benefits from biodiversity use and ecosystem services of the country. It also provides a framework for maintaining the necessary environmental conditions to reduce poverty, ensure sustainable development and food security in the country.
