Rwanda: State of Environment and Outlook Report 2015

This report is in continuation of previous State of the Environment and Outlook Reports published by REMA every two years as a part of its mandate. The report is primarily organized in two parts. Part I provides the geographical context and describes the main drivers of environmental change. It then assesses the status and trends in environmental conditions in Rwanda. Part II focuses on greening Rwanda’s agricultural sector with resource efficient, low carbon and climate resilient practices, provides an outlook for the future of the nation’s agriculture sector and explores opportunities for agriculture to contribute to greening the Rwandan economy.
