Botanic Gardens Conservation International (BGCI)'s PlantSearch database
BGCI’s PlantSearch is the only global database of living plant, seed and tissue collections. It contains about 1,515,108 collection records, representing 622,694 taxa, at 1,177 contributing institutions. The user can locate threatened, rare, medicinal and other plant species in living collections hence, connect with living collections to aid one’s conservation, education and research efforts.
