ATLAS of Community Seed Banks in India
This interactive Atlas provides a wealth of information about the Community Seed Banks (CSBs) in India. The Atlas is a part of a national platform for CSBs in India and their facilitating and supporting organizations and networks. It facilitates the exchange of knowledge and experiences as well as connectivity, and it provides research-based guidance for strengthening CSBs and scaling out good models. It is also a rich source of information for decision-makers, researchers and media. This website has been established through the project ‘Unfolding the Potentials of Community Seed Banks for Food and Nutrition Security among Smallholder Farmers in India through the Realization of Farmers’ Rights (DIVERSIFARM-India)’. It has been developed by the Fridtjof Nansen Institute, Norway (FNI), together with the M S Swaminathan Research Foundation, Chennai (MSSRF), with support from the Royal Norwegian Embassy in New Delhi.
