BSF project "National articulation for the governance and collective management of genetic diversity and its associated knowledge in family and peasant agriculture in Uruguay"
The project "National articulation for the governance and collective management of genetic diversity and its associated knowledge in family and peasant agriculture in Uruguay" supported by the Benefit-Sharing Fund of the International Treaty for Food and Agriculture (Fourth Cycle) will establish Regional Agrobiodiversity Centers managed by farmers to facilitate their access to Creole seeds, install evaluation and multiplication plots to reproduce adapted materials, and generate knowledge about their characteristics, cultivation methods, uses and nutritional values.
