International Treaty on Plant Genetic Resources for Food and Agriculture

GRAIN

GRAIN is an international non-governmental organization which promotes the sustainable management and use of agricultural biodiversity based on people’s control over genetic resources and local knowledge. Established at the beginning of the 1990s, it focuses on what it sees as one of the most pervasive threats to world food security: genetic erosion. Its website contains news, information and publications, in English, French, and Spanish. It also provides access to Seedling, GRAIN’s quarterly magazine and flagship publication, with articles, news and interviews related to seed and food security.
